I have stayed here before and it is a great location with a restaurant at the motel ,very friendly and pet friendly too,close to the museum in town and is well worth a visit
Stopped here en route to San Francisquito after my friend's bike broke down. The food here was pretty good, and the rooms were quite clean. The owner of the place was super accommodating, letting us use their phone and eventually helping us find someone to haul the bike up north. Highly recommended spot, you won't regret it!
This appeared to be the only place open for lunch when we rolled through at about noon. They weren’t serving lunch until 2 PM so we had breakfast. They had a small menu of classic Mexican and American breakfast items and it was pretty good. The Wi-Fi did not work but they helped us try to get connected for a while. Very nice staff.
Victoria is a super host! The food is amazing, and its always a treat to see scooby. My fave hotel in BOLA for sure.
Lovely place. Not modern just basic room with working amenities. Nice atmosphere. No luxuries. Good restaurant / bar. It's advertised as beachfront but the main road and a large camp ground are between hotel & sea. Breakfast was amazing. Thank the chef - best Mexican Omelet. Scoobie the old great dane was charming. Owner insisted that he did not sire all the great dane-like street dogs. You decide.
Stopped by here once on the way to San Francisquito and once on the way back. Clean and charming. The wonderful lady that runs the place is quite the matriarch, warm, friendly and obviously the boss of the neighborhood. Dinners there are absolutely delicious and your beer will never be empty. Wonderful people and great place!
8 of us stayed at the Costa del Sol on a Vancouver to Cabo (return) motorcycle ride in May 2019. Safety of the bikes at night is always an issue, and we all of felt great about leaving the bikes in the courtyard. Food was fantastic, prices were reasonable, and the beer was COLD! I would recommend the Costa, and will be sure to go back. The beach is right across the road, with easy access to fishing off the pier.
Super friendly owner! Decent price for the room. The restaurant has good food and cold beer. Rooms are big and the mattresses are comfy. Air conditioning is awesome and bathrooms are clean.
For the area, nice updated rooms, now with mini split air conditioning. Room is comfortable and larger than newer places. Staff is very helpful, rate was great for us on a weekday walk in . Dinner in the bar was excellent, fresh grouper!
Great little hotel along the main road. Nothing fancy, but neat and tidy. They lost the room key, but we felt safe leaving our things in the room especially during the summer when the town was pretty quiet. Air conditioning worked great. The hotel restaurant was very popular with the locals for breakfast.
